LIBRARY CALENDAR CLOCK. This clock has original dials and hands. The upper dial
is 5.25". The case is walnut and in very nice original condition. The top
fret and bottom drop are both in good condition with no visible breaks. The
surface of the case has very minor scratches and nicks associated with a clock

"RIPPLE" BEEHIVE CLOCK. The case has a nice J. C. Brown label. This
clock has good early hands and an early 5"dial which has slight imperfections.
The dial and movement are signed J.C. Brown. The lower door has a bone knob and
a wonderful etched gothic glass with country lake scene. The upper glass
appears original. The case has a nice dark surface. 10.25"W x 19"H x

3ANSONIA ROYAL BONN "LA
MINE" IN BLUE & TEAL. Signed Ansonia time & strike 8 day brass
movement. This clock strikes the hour and half hour. It is signed on the back
Royal Bonn. The 3.25"dial including the brass fancy sash is 5 inches in
diameter. The case is in beautiful condition with no visible imperfections. It
does have an exposed Brocot escapement. A fancy bezel with beveled glass
crystal. It has its brass access dust cover. This case is decorated in blue and
teal with colored flowers and water scene. The enamel dial is in good condition
with no visible hairlines or chips. The hands are good. The clock has a

4LARGE E. N. WELCH INLAID
WALL CLOCK. This clock is signed E. N. Welch and is a typical brass 8 day time
and strike spring driven movement with a 10.75" dial. The dial support
plate has a number of extra holes. The clock has a good set of period style
hands and a brass pendulum bob that has many dings dents and imperfections. The
case has much inlay and veneer. The inside of the clock has a gilt framed
mirror that can be seen when the door is closed. 32.5"W x 49"H x

5RODNEY BRACE CARVED COLUMN
& SPLAT WITH "TORRINGTON" MOVEMENT. Early carved column and splat
with paw feet. This clock has a good original printed label signed Rodney Brace
and has a "TORRIGNTON" style woodworks movement with the winding
arbors at 3:00 and 9:00. Good hands and a nice 9"dial in original
condition. The lower door reverse painted glass appears to be original with
maybe some backing touch up. The case is refinished in clean condition and has
some reglued veneer pieces on the front. 16"W x 30"H x 4.5"D.

CHIME CLOCK. This clock has the brass time and strike 8 day movement and the
extra brass 8 day chime movement mounted under the main movement. Strikes on
four anvils. Has an original 5"dial, hands and pendulum. The dial has
chapter ring deterioration. The clock has a mahogany case with bronze trimmings.
The bronze trimming under the dial that covers the chime winding hole is

7CLARKE GILBERT "HOLLOW
COLUMN" SHELF CLOCK. The hollow columns are birds eye maple. This clock
has good period hands and a nice painted 6"dial with flowers in the
corners. A signed Gilbert time and strike brass movement. An etched upper door
glass and a reverse painted lower door glass. The lower door glass has been
repainted. The clock has a primitive brass pendulum bob and nice period weights.

EXTRA" WEIGHT DRIVEN WALL CLOCK Mahogany veneered case with minor nicks
and chips associated with a clock of this age. The case has a replaced lower
glass tablet. Typical round weight driven S. B. Terry time only brass movement
with spade hour and minute hands. The 12"dial has many imperfections. The
clock has the signed Seth Thomas "EMBOSSED" pendulum bob with a gilt
stick. The inside of the clock case has the weight board with original label.

"OFFICE CALENDAR" CLOCK Refinished oak case with all mouldings and
trimmings intact. Weight driven time only brass movement. The clock has good
spade and calendar hands, repainted 11"upper time dial and lower calendar
dial. Although repainted these dials are done very well. The lower calendar

10ENGLISH FUSEE SKELETON
CLOCK. This clock has a single time only fusee movement. A good glass dome on
an ebonized wood base with original velvet at the center. The 5.25" dial
is skeletonized and has paint and finish deterioration. The brass skeletonized
movement is in the form of a Lyre. The clock has a good pendulum stick and bob
with fancy hands. 13"W x 15"H x 6.5"D. Est. $700 - 900.
11FRENCH EMPIRE SWINGING LYRE
MANTLE CLOCK The ebonized lyre case has applied gilt brass mounts with cornucopias
of fruit and flowers on the arms and a large central cartouche with a robed
maiden radiating with sun rays and clouds below, swirling in the wind. Here the
swing pendulum movement hangs, in the base of the pendulum. Time and
bell-strike movement, with a steel pallet Brocot escapement. The back plate of
the movement is marked P.D. 4391, the front plate is marked C.A.F. The dial
shows some light design and black numerals below some floral and filigree
decoration. The base shows a leaf molded brass section over a lower ebonized
platform and 4 brass feet. This piece is in very good original condition, the
crutch has been repaired.

12MONUMENTAL 5' FIGURAL FLOOR
CLOCK Full standing classical figure with braided hair, her arms are reaching
up, holding a large elaborate spherical timepiece. The time and bell strike
movement shows a lever platform escapement and is signed Lenzkirch - A.U.G. 1
Million and is numbered 386537. The enameled 5"dial with roman numerals
for the hour and the exterior band represents the minutes. 23"W x

"BOSTON CLOCK CO." WEIGHT DRIVEN WALL CLOCK. The 11.5" dial is
signed Daniel Pratts Son with some minor touchup and the movement is signed
"BOSTON CLOCK CO." The brass movement is numbered 8 at least twice. A
nice period style cast iron weight and good brass pulley. The plain brass bob
with a flat black stick which has a prior repair under the keystone. The mahogany
case has a good redone finish. The hands are period and in good condition.

14HOWARD & DAVIS #3 WEIGHT
DRIVEN BANJO CLOCK This clock has a refinished case and new glasses with an
unsigned typical brass movement. Some unusual wood was removed from the inside
of the bezel. There is a massive weight that has been modified to work in this
case with the movement pulley. The 9"clock dial has some paint
restoration. A black painted flat wood stick with a highly polished pendulum
bob. This is a highly restored clock. The lower throat glass support frame has

CHRONOMETER A double boxed B. F. & T. Davies, English boxed chronometer.
The outer wood box has a broken leather strap. The outer wood box is nicely
dovetailed and appears to be original. The inner wood box has a brass plaque
signed "Adams London No 36, Lombard Street" The plaque box also has a
bone inlay signed "1813". The inner box has a lock and key. The
chronometer has a full gimbaled brass tub with original key. The clock has a
nice set of yellow spade and poker hands. The 3.75"dial has a soft butler
finish with black Roman hour numerals and black minute markers. The dial is
signed " B. F. & T. Davies, Utica New York" The dial has a
subsidiary second bit and an up/down power indicator. The movement is a solid
brass single fusee movement with detent escapement and helical hairspring. The
movement is dry of oil and sluggish. The does run but does not make 24 hours.
The key supplied in the box is old and is for winding the clock not setting the

building. Over 4 feet long with victorian fruit and grape carvings. The clock

Paris and are in good condition. The hands are original. The clock has a
Centigrade thermometer on the lower portion, and the Barometer has a Fahrenheit

black minute markers. The dial is signed " CHARLES FRODSHAM 7 PAVEMENT
FINSBURY SQU LONDON NO. 1813." The dial has a subsidiary second bit and an
up/down power indicator. The movement is a solid brass single fusee movement
with detent escapement and helical hairspring. The movement is dry of oil and
sluggish. It does run but does not make 24 hours. It would benefit from a
cleaning and oil. The key supplied in the box is old and does wind the clock
but is not for setting the hands. Both boxes have a nice old soft finish.

The clock has a two early labels. The typical brass 8 day time and strike clock
movement with inside count wheel strike system. The dial is signed and appears
to be original. It has the typical off set winding arbors. The 7"dial does
not appear to set in the center of the door glass. When looking at the clock
the dial is set to the left and the circle for viewing the clock is set a bit
to the right. The clock has original wallpaper on the inside of the case. The
upper door glass has a green crystal type paint and the lower door has a mirror
with many imperfections. The case is missing it's large overhanging top.

good hands. The eyes and movement are original. The clock case appears to have

37FRENCH EMPIRE GILT BRONZE
SILK THREAD MANTLE CLOCK The very fine and detailed gilt bronze case features a
robed classical maiden standing next to an elaborate empire throne chair with
standing winged griffins. In her right hand she holds a counterbalance scale,
on which a cherub and a moth sit. Very precise and fine detail in her features.
In the chair rests a long flowing robe consealing a French silk thread time and
bell-strike movement with an enameled 3"dial. The base is molded with
assorted filigree and seashell design all over 4 knurled conical feet. The gilt
is in very good condition showing some green and losses in a few spots, also
shows some moderate modifications to the counterbalance structure. Pendulum is

38ANSONIA JUNO BALL SWING
FIGURAL MANTLE CLOCK The tall figure of Juno is shown wearing a robe and
standing on a platform. Her left hand holds the bar from which the pendulum

BANDED BANJO CLOCK. 8 day time only weight driven brass movement. Good clean
6.75"dial and hands with a typical brass pendulum bob. The cross banded
wood case has minor imperfections especially by the button for opening the
lower door. The case is other wise in nice condition. The clock has a reverse
painted throat glass and lower door glass. Both of these are in good condition.

LIBERTY BELL TIMEPIECE The silvered nickel bell is inscribed "Vae. Mihi.
Si. Non. Evangelisavero" (Woe to me if I preach not the gospel). It hangs
on the oak bracket, suspending from the two bronze support arms on either side,
mounted to the chamfered red marble platform base. Time only hairspring
movement, which has a silvered 2"dial. In very good, clean condition.

STANDING JEWELERS REGULATOR CLOCK Elaborate carved oak case with glass side
panels in original finish with Egyptian head in the upper crest. Ornate crest
finials are missing, but the rest of the case is wonderful. 12" porcelain
dial with sweep second hand. Weight driven 8 day brass movement with dead beat
escapement and retaining power. Mercury 3 jar compensating pendulum. 33"W

43FRENCH FIGURAL BRONZE &
MARBLE ANNULAR CLOCK Features two figural nude women embracing a tall torchier,
reaching up to light it with small torches in their right hands. The top of the
torchier shows a flame finial over the porcelain annular dial with black roman
numerals. Below, the main post is decorated with triangular ionic capitals,
rose and filigree strands and rams heads near the base. The white marble base
is mounted with gilt bronze filigree and a single door front and back over a
gilt platform. The movement has a great quality silvered lever platform
escapement showing nice brisk motion, it is marked on the front 74, and on the

MASSACHUSETTS SHELF CLOCK Massachusetts weight driven shelf clock signed
"RUEBEN TOWER, HINGHAM". The clock hands are primitive and do not
match. The 9.5" x 6.75" dial has an old surface with many paint
repairs and imperfections. The dial is attached to the seat board with two
screws and a cross piece of wood on the case. The cross piece of wood where the
third screw hole attaches is missing. The clock has a very primitive time only
banjo style brass clock movement. The movement is early and the brass has many
imperfections. The movement construction is also a bit primitive with short
wheel teeth and rough cut pinions and arbors. The pendulum bob is smaller and
lighter than a banjo clock bob. The pendulum bob upper suspension block has
been repaired. The movement crutch is also thinner, flatter and much more
primitive than most crutches on movements of this type. One of the seat board
hooks has been replaced. The brass pulley is early and the correct style and
size for the clock movement. It is a bit smaller than a banjo clock pulley. The
mahogany case has inlay in the bonnet and base. The base has missing glue
blocks and a replaced back brace. The clock has a number of other minor

MADE FANCY GALLERY CLOCK. Made to be built into the upper gallery of a church
or public building. This clock is similar to the E. Howard Model 140. It has a

regulated brass movement marked #28. A good pendulum stick bob and weight. The
clock appears in nice original untouched condition. The lower drop in front of
the clock would drop into the wall and not show but have access by a panel on
the back of the case. The clock movement is compounded twice using three

Roman hour numerals and black minute markers with black spade hands. There are
a number of hairlines in the chapter ring. Fast /slow regulator on the front.
Patented massive balance wheel with beautiful balance timing screws and cap
jewels. The hairspring is good and the large battery is present in the base.

CLOCK This clock has a case that is typical of a Joseph Ives style but the
clock has a very unusual skeletonized brass movement which has half moon
cutouts at the base. The construction of the movement is quite typical of a New
Hampshire maker but the case style lends itself to be from further south. The
clock has period style hands, a badly flaking 7"dial, unusual green
reverse painted upper glass and a lower mirror in the door. It has a broken
arch top which is not original. The case front is gilded and has chipping,
imperfections and loss of gilt in many places. The clock has a typical pendulum

typical moon hands and brass pulley, a black tapered banjo style weight with a
"V" on the front. Good early glasses with minor imperfections. Plain
brass bob. The wood weight guard is painted black. The movement is signed E.
Howard & Co. The back of the case does not have any extra movement holes.

This style of clock was made by Theodore R. Timby of Baldwinsville New York.

LOBBY CALENDAR CLOCK A terrific find for the serious Ithaca Clock Collector.
This clock has a massive Victorian custom 2 part case with decorative side
panels with mirrors. Typical 8 day time and strike movement with an Ithaca
calendar movement in the base. The mantle and case have minor scratches and
nicks. Overall the clock case is in good condition. Both 7" time and
calendar dials are original and in good condition. The calendar drums also
appear to be original. The clock has a wonderful glass pendulum with the

FIGURE 8 WALL CLOCK. The original 7.25"dial has many small paint
imperfections and is signed in a fancy script. The dial wood support plate has
2 extra unexplained holes. The dial looks good and all the dial holes match up
except for two extra in non dial screw places. The clock has nice moon hands.
The weight is correct and is marked "10". The bob is brass and has a
simple damaskeening design. The wood pendulum stick is painted black. The case
is marked in a number of places XVIII. The case has had prior repairs and the
repair person put old labels and has signed the case. We see at least two
repairs from 1908 and 1928. The keystone is marked with number 8. The movement
is marked number 5 and is signed E. Howard & Co. The wood back board has a
number of holes in the case from what appears to have been attempts to attach
the case to the wall. The throat glass and lower door glass are old and have
minor imperfections. The case has a nice old dark finish. 11"W x 34"H

BRONZE MANTLE CLOCK Large gilt bronze case with fine detail of a tall gothic
cathedral on a rocky ledge. The staggered stairs lead to a walkway with a long
banister and a second set of stairs leading to arched double doors. 4
independent standing figures are shown on pedestals and shelves around the
structure. The very fine bronze case shows lifelike detail in the stone
building towers, arches and the scrolled moldings. The balcony has 3 tall
steeples and a watch tower to the left, in the center of the balcony there are
2 animated figures striking a bell on the hour, 2 hammers strike a single bell.
Matching numbers (802)on the movement and pendulum. The pendulum hangs on a
suspension spring while the animation is driven thru a silk thread mechanism.

ASTRONOMICAL FLOOR CLOCK Regulator "D" style carved walnut case with
a bonnet top and a figural maiden head in the crest. This is a massive floor
clock, standing over 9 feet tall. This model clock is so rare that it is the
first one we've seen in over 30 years of selling clocks. Limited documentation shows
that "little is known of this firm which produced a line of high grade
regulators around 1870 and sold them through the depot of "Terhune &
Edwards" located at 18 Cortlandt St. in New York City. The case has an old
refinish and is in excellent condition. The 14"silvered dial is dirty and
has some staining. It would benefit from a professional cleaning. Original

GOTHIC TWIN STEEPLE. "ORIENTAL STYLE" mantle clock by Brewster and
Ingraham. This rosewood veneered case is clean and has been polished. The back
of the gothic top has slight damage. The four steeples appear in good condition.
The case door has a very nice etched glass with heart design. The clock has a
good old 5" dial with minor flaking and imperfections. Under the dial
there are many unexplained holes on the wood dial support frame. The clock
movement has extreme bushing wear with an exterior bushing added to the outside
of the escape wheel on the front plate. Many of the train wheel bushings have
been pricked punched. The hour hand is a replacement. The minute hand is
functional. The pendulum bob is typical but replaced. The inside of the case
has an ancient label. The clock does have power going to the escapement. Please

with the chimes striking on 4 anvils and the hour strike on one anvil. The
diamond studded presentation dial is inscribed "Manufactured for Mary T.
Johnson 1888" and "TIFFANY & CO. MAKERS". The dial has a
silver chapter ring with bold black roman numerals, it has a silver seconds bit
with black Arabic seconds numerals at 15, 30, 45 and 60 and an arch with a moon
phase dial. The dial has four raised corner spandrels and bold large spade hour
and minute hands. The 8 day brass movement is also signed "Tiffany &

LIGHTHOUSE CLOCK The top of the light tower shows a silvered finish with a
timepiece on the front, thermometers left and right and a barometer on the
back. Driven from a separate movement in the base of the tower, the top section
oscillates clockwise showing the 4 sides. The time only hairspring movement has
a silvered dial matching that of the barometer on the reverse and they both
show a gilt bezel with beveled glass, the 2.25"dial is numbered 2926. The
gilt body has a nice finish with incised brickwork replicating the structure of
the tower. There are windows in the body and a door at the base which opens

CUCKOO MANTLE CLOCK Signed "Kriegel & Hartmann - Geneve, Suisse"
on 2 small plaques. The case has a detailed wooden castle. Bricks are carved on
the surface of the building and detailed shingles on the roof. A long walkway
with a section of stairs and a railing is shown across the front, to the right
of the entrance. The front and side walls are carved with tall vines, assorted
windows and a bird perched on a plaque which reads 1678. At the roof is a large
round watchtower to the left and a small shelter to the right. Centered is a
small balcony with a door from which the bird sings on the hour. The movement,
signed GHS, has a 5.5" dial and a single hammer strike to a coiled anvil
and two whistles mounted to the case. A separate cylinder music box is fixed to
the box as well, not attached to the clock movement. Shows remainence of a
paper label on the back of the door. Overall in good condition, missing minor
molding and finials with slight losses to the applied carvings, the gong on the

brass clock movement sitting on a solid mahogany seat board. This movement
provides a choice of striking the quarters in Westminster or Whittington chimes
on tubes. The hour strikes on a single tube. The clock has quality brass
weights and a good original pendulum with steel flat rod and brass bob. It has
a typical London style dial with silvered chapter ring with large bold raised
Arabic hour numerals, pierced brass raised decorative spandrels and sub seconds

burled trim in excellent condition. The case may have been lightly cleaned at
some point but retains much of the original finish with good color and patina.
All case parts are original and in excellent condition. The 14" vitrolite
reverse painted glass dial has been redone. The movement has a Graham dead beat
escapement with red ruby pallets. The escape wheel bushings are ruby hole
jewels. The remaining bushings are brass. The clock has maintaining power and a
full Geneva Stop. The movement has original custom brass top and side dust
covers. There are three screws missing on the left dust cover. It is held in
place with the three remaining screws. The movement is signed E. Howard &
Co. Boston. The keystone with suspension is numbered "6" and number
"147". The clock has a brass and steel pendulum with rating nut and 4

1941 to Mr. C.F. Morris, 2504 N.E. Second Ave. Miami Fla. stating that
"The record on your clock says sold October 12, 1874 to Edmands &
Wiggin, Bangor Maine, #3 fine movement in #61 style case, pendulum #147,
mercury 2578 dwts. The price of the clock was probably $800.00; in cases made
to hang on the wall they were $750.00, the standing case was $50.00 additional.
We are returning your photograph. This was of use to convince us that the
record was O.K. Then cases were made in our old factory, and the carving was

GARGOYLE MUSICAL CLOCK SET The polychromed spelter case shows a large winged
gargoyle wearing a red robe and hood and is sitting on a base drum playing
music with a mallet in one hand, a cymbal in the other and bells on his ankles.
The drum sits on a cross stretcher base mounted on a decorative platform with
winged griffins on the sides. The original pendulum bob has a spider and a fly
trapped in it's web. The time and strike 8 day movement is numbered on the back

both are figural with winged gargoyles, one playing a guitar and the other

AUTOMATED CLOCK The case features a beam engine with a long cross beam at the
top, a large fly wheel in the back and many moving mechanics of a classic beam

Albert & JM Anderson Mfg. Co. Boston, Ma. The bronze case shows a gold and
copper colored finish and some incised decoration resembling the brick
structure of the engine base. Here in the front is mounted 3 silvered dials, a
barometer to the left, a thermometer to the right and a time and bell-strike
Jappy Freres hairspring movement with a 2.75" porcelain dial in the
center. The platform is formed from rouge and black marble over 4 bronze feet.

DAY CLOCK UNDER DOME. A very interesting and extremely scarce timepiece. A
brass 2 day time only movement with a marine pin pallet escapement. The rear
and front plates have a very unusual design. The clock appears quite original
and complete. It is running with a great motion and has an early brass key with
it. 3" enamel dial and good early hands, The front plate of the case is
made of metal and is signed "PARIS". It has a partial piece of the
label left on the back of the glass dome signed "PATENT MARINE TIME PIECE".
This clock has the patented "Bottsford" marine escapement. The rope
style felt around the base appears to be original. This clock also has a black

floor standing case with fruit carved crest and inlaid base. Original dust
cover, custom made for this movement at the time of manufacture which has an
addition to accept the great wheel and knurled knobs for holding the side
plates in place. The graham dead beat movement is very good quality with a beat
adjustment at the top. It has jeweled pallets and maintaining power. All the
bushings having individual pivot caps on the back of the main plate which are
held in with two screws. Each cap has a screw to act like a cap jewel in a

WATER FOUNTAIN CLOCK The two color bronze case has a nice dark patina and
applied gilt bronze mounts. At the top it shows an arched crest bordered with
gilt leaf moldings, under this arch shows a man and a woman sitting in the
reeds next to a pond, between them is a twisted glass rod representing running
water when it animates or spins. The midsection shows a pair of gilt 3
dimensional dolphins on either side of the dial with "water" flowing
from their mouths into a cut glass reservoir below. The base has gilt leaf
molded border over a lower platform and four gilt feet. The hairspring movement
is numbered 18726 and it sits behind an enameled 2" dial. Resting in the
lower section of the case is a separate movement, not attached to the
timepiece, which animates the fountain rods. 9"W x 15"H x 7"D.

switch. The massive time, strike and chime brass clock movement was made in
England. The clock has 8 tubes for the Westminster and Whittington chime

SUSPENSION 3 PC CLOCK SET The gilt bronze case is very finely decorated with
intricate detail, forming a large architectural cathedral. The crest is mounted
with a pair of figural winged putti each holding a cornucopia of fruit. Below,
the pilasters on either side of the dial show large capitols at the top and
figural robed maidens at the base surrounded in leaf and scrolled decoration.
The bronze 3.75"dial shows porcelain inserts painted with numerals behind
a beaded bezel. The lower section has stairs leading up the cathedral with
relief molded putti and phoenix forming the front. On either side is a landing
with a robed figural maiden holding an urn. The time and strike silk thread
movement is signed Douillon, missing the pendulum and bell. The two candelabras
have 5 arms each, they are very finely molded showing scrolling arms and
filigree and 3 figural mermaids at the triangular platforms. The bronze

hinge pocket watch with good style pendant and nice bow and crown. This clock
was made to hang off the side of a building from its bow with a large bracket.
Weight driven signed E. Howard & Co. time only pendulum regulated brass
movement. There is an old coat of paint over the original gold leaf finish.
Nice old unrestored appearance from being outside for many years. An original
dial signed with the jewelers name, "Goldman's Watch Repairing, Standard
Time, E. Howard, Boston Mass." The wooden 24" dials have some
staining with bold Arabic numerals and the wooden bezel is hinged. The hands
