The J. Stevens Arms & Tool Model 94 is a classic, affordable, single-shot, break-action shotgun, popular for its simplicity, reliability, and use as an entry-level firearm for hunting, often with fixed full chokes and wood or early Tenite (plastic) stocks. 12-gauge versions came with various barrel lengths (28-36″) and could be 2 �” or 3″ chambers, but caution is needed; you must check barrel markings for chamber size and choke, and avoid steel shot in older barrels unless proven safe (bismuth is a better non-toxic option).
