The Hamilton Model 27 is a vintage single-shot, tip-up barrel rifle chambered in .22 rimfire, manufactured by the C.J. Hamilton & Son company in Plymouth, Michigan. Known as the most popular of all Hamilton rifles, over 500,000 units were produced between 1907 and 1930. Tip-up barrel (lever break action release) with a single-action hammer. Features a unique brass-lined barrel made by pressure-forming a sheet of metal around a mandrel. Common lengths include 15, 16, or 20.5 inches. Stamped steel receiver and a walnut stock. In original patina, has scratches, scuffs, and a missing bolt (that has been replaced with a modern bolt). Please see photos. C&R
