Manufactured in 1994 as per serial number. This SA-22 known as just the “Takedown” is a piece of art. Designed by John Browning in 1912 and been in production since 1914. This example has a beautiful deep blued finish throughout, gold enhanced scroll engraving, gloss grade VI American Black walnut forend and stock with traditional point checkering pattern, and the famous gold Browning trigger. A knurled ring at the base of the barrel allows adjustments of play to ensure accuracy, front and rear adjustable iron sights, an all steel construction, tube mag that loads from the rear of the stock with a 10 rnd capacity, bottom bolt charging and bottom eject make it a great rifle for left or right handed shooters.
