Manufactured in 1984 as per serial number. This “Colt Factory Special Edition” was limited to only “1000 Units” this is #994. Features a Bright Stainless finish, blued front and rear dovetailed sights, smooth wood grips with silver Colt medallions, and 1 – 7 rnd magazine. When Colt started using stainless steel for their 1911’s they commemorated the change with this special run of 1,000 pistols from their Custom Shop, the �Silver Star�. Includes the factory Colt marked wood display box. It appears to have been fired at some point but might have been from test firing at the factory. Please see photos.
