The Unbroken 20-Gun Matrix: Serial Numbers T40231 – T40250
Custom-commissioned by the factory in the late 1970s as a traveling distributor showcase and executive boardroom display, this set represents the only known complete, fully documented matrix survivor in existence. The collection is engineered in a perfect mathematical loop, moving systematically through four calibers and five distinct model configurations: An unbroken ballistic timeline moving from 9mm Luger (T40231–T40235) ? .38 Super (T40236–T40240) ? .45 ACP (T40241–T40245) ? .451 Detonics Magnum (T40246–T40250) Within each caliber block, the factory built exactly one sequence of the core Combat Master variants: Mark V (Brushed Stainless), Mark VI (Polished Presentation Stainless), Mark VII (Ultra-Rare Sightless Tactical), Mark I/MC1 (Matte Blued), and Mark II/MC2 (Satin Nickel). Compounding its rarity, this entire matrix was built utilizing consecutive frames from the legendary "T" serial number prefix series. These frames feature the highly collected factory-installed crosswise frame pin and hand-machined feed-ramp inserts—capturing a vital moment of design evolution right on the Detonics production line.
Preserved in spectacular collector condition, this 1-of-1 archive is accompanied by its original, factory-commissioned tiered plexi-glass presentation display stand and all twenty (20) original, serial-matching factory boxes with complete packaging which include, instruction booklet, 1 magazine, and factory soft pouch.
