Manufactured in the 1870s. This 12ga BP Percussion shotgun has 30� “Fine London Twist” barrels with fine, dark frosted bores showing very shallow pitting near the muzzle. This is an antique W. & C. Scott double hammer, side-by-side shotgun. This very high quality English shotgun having some minor surface scratches and slight roughness at the muzzle. The side plates are marked W. & C. Scott & Son with beautiful light scroll engraving as do the hammers, trigger guard and other metal parts. The walnut stock is solid with numerous old repaired crack in the forend and scratches on the straight wood stock.. An original brass tipped wood ramrod is present. A beautiful, well built percussion shotgun from a very well known English maker. Antique. Please see photos. No FFL Needed in most states.
