The Savage Model 24 DL (Deluxe) in .22 LR over .410 bore is a highly sought-after, premium variation of Savage�s classic break-action combination gun. Introduced in 1962, the “DL” series added upscale, stylistic touches to a notoriously utilitarian, do-all platform. Features a satin silver/chrome-finished receiver adorned with roll-engraved game scenes alongside a gold-plated trigger. Upgraded from standard utility wood to a checkered Monte Carlo walnut stock and forearm. .22 Long Rifle (also capable of safely firing .22 Long and .22 Short). .410 Bore smoothbore shotgun, chambered for up to 3-inch shells with a fixed Full choke. Break-open single-shot with a manual rebounding hammer and manual rear-pushing extractors (no automatic ejectors). Features a quick-detachable spring-loaded forearm, allowing the barrels to separate instantly from the receiver for compact packing. Has some signs of normal use. Please see photos. C&R
