Manufactured in 1977 as per serial number. A highly regarded, discontinued bolt-action rifle known for its exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy, a result of its unique rear-locking lug design and rigid receiver. It was manufactured from 1967 to 1983 as an inexpensive alternative to the Model 700 series. The rifle features a heavy, stiff, cylindrical receiver and a bolt with nine small, rear-locking lugs, which contributes to a very fast lock time and enhanced accuracy. It has a blued barrel and receiver, black synthetic stock with rubber recoil pad, a Tasco 12×40 variable scope with a duplex reticle and 1″ rings, and a nylon sling. Has signs of use with some surface rust spots on the barrel and some light finish wear at the muzzle. No Magazine Included. Please see photos.
