The top of the barrel is marked �REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. / PATENT NUMBERS 2,005,866 2,007,019, 2.125.950� and �THE / RANGEMASTER / TRADE MARK / MODEL 37�. The left side of the barrel is marked �Remington / REG.U.S.PAT.OFF.� and �22 LONG RIFLE�. The right side of the barrel is marked with an inspection mark and a �SS� Date Code Indicating a 1947 year of manufacture. The left side of the receiver�s chamber ring is marked �06434�. This is one of only aprrox 12,500 made rifles. The rifle remains in very good condition, showing slights signs of use and wear. Please see the photos.
