Manufactured in 1998 as per serial number, this Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle Semi-Auto Rifle is a scaled-down version of the US M-14. Ruger’s Mini-14 semi-automatic rifles have a solid reputation for being reliable under all conditions and have proven themselves in law enforcement and military use worldwide. The Ranch Rifle operates with a simple Garand-style design that uses a fixed-piston gas system where gas impinges directly upon the operating rod and a breech bolt locking system. A large extractor and fixed ejector send spent cases flying swiftly to the right of the shooter. The Ranch Rifle ejector is set to eject cases low to avoid hitting a mounted scope. No tools are required to quickly field strip the rifle down to a few large parts that are not easily misplaced, and it reassembles just as quickly. This rifle has a blued steel barrel and receiver, a smooth walnut stock, and a synthetic ventilated hand guard. A curved buttplate keeps the rifle on the shoulder during rapid fire. It has a fixed blade front sight and flip up rear sight that allows fast target acquisition and holds up to rugged use. Integral scope mounts are machined into the receiver for mounting an optical sight with Ruger scope rings. The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle is a fast-handling Semi-Auto Rifle that’s great for hunting, pest control, home defense, and emergency preparation. Includes 1 – 5 rnd and 1 – 30 rnd magazines.
