The Beretta 92FS (originally the 92SB-F, with the ‘F’ standing for “Federal”) is a full-size, semi-automatic 9x19mm pistol well-known for its service as the official sidearm of the U.S. military (designated the M9) for over 30 years. It is highly regarded for its reliability, durability, and accuracy. This design virtually eliminates “stove-piping” malfunctions and ensures reliable cycling and feeding. It features an ambidextrous safety lever that also acts as a decocking lever, along with an internal firing pin block for added safety. The 92FS was designed to meet stringent military standards and is known for its robust construction, including a chrome-lined bore to protect from corrosion and reduce wear. It has a grooved frame for a secure grip and a reversible magazine release to accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters. Has rubber Pachmayr grips, and 2 – 15 rnd magazines.
