The HSB & Co. Rev-O-Noc 12 gauge side-by-side shotgun is a vintage American double-barrel shotgun made by the Crescent Fire Arms Company for the hardware distributor Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. of Chicago. The name “Rev-O-Noc” is “Conover” spelled backward, a tribute to Charles H. Conover, a vice president of the company, it features double triggers and often have a working automatic safety. The barrels are generally made of fluid steel not Damascus, which was common in earlier models. In its original patina and has walnut furniture. There are some small scratches on the wood and some light rust dusting over the barrel exterior. Please see photos. C&R
