Manufactured by Universal Firearms between the late 1960s to early 1970s as per information (Not Much) on the serial number. This gas operated semi automatic carbine has a blued steel receiver and 18� barrel giving it the classic look while maintaining reliable function with commercial .30 Carbine ammunition. The absence of a bayonet lug and the checkered aluminum butt-plate confirm the commercial configuration. The hardwood low wood stock includes a sling cut and oiler, and a steel buttplate, preserving the traditional look. A protected post front sight with a stamped adjustable rear sight for quick target acquisition for typical carbine distances, and a safety switch on the right side of the trigger guard for quick and easy index finger manipulation.
