Genuine Colt-manufactured slide and barrel, part of an initial 10,000-unit contract for the Argentine Army. It was manufactured by Colt in Hartford, Connecticut, likely in 1927 or early 1928, before Argentina began its own licensed production (known as the Sistema Colt Model 1927). The serial number 3863 appears on the top of the slide, and the barrel. The frame however has no markings and could have been an arsenal replacement. Blued finish with some wear on the bottom of the slide lug. and the muzzle end of the slide. the wood grips appear to be of the era as well. Have to say it really is a nice example! Includes 1 Colt 7 rnd magazine and a soft zip case. Please see photos. C&R
