Manufactured in 1950 as per serial number. This Colt Commercial 1911 was made for civilian sale. The slide is bright blued with a matte on the top, left of the slide is marked �GOVERNMENT / MODEL�, �COLT�, �AUTOMATIC / CALIBER .45� and with a rampant Colt logo. The right of the slide is marked �COLT�S MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.�. The right of the frame is marked with the serial number. The left of the trigger guard has �Q� and a �VP� in triangle, the right has �0�. The barrel is marked �COLT .45 AUTO�. The sights are Kensight adjustable target sights, checkered baklite Colt grips, and 1 – 7 rnd Colt stamped magazine. Has some sighs of normal use, with some light scratches on the front left of the slide, some finish wear on the bottom of the slide in front of the frame. Includes a factory blue polymer padded hard case. Please see photos. C&R
