This Commemorative set was issued in 1970 honoring WW2, with a high polished nickel plated engraved markings for the Pacific Theatre from Dec 7, 1941-Sept 2, 1945. The left side of the slide is marked ��Pearl Harbor, Coral Sea, Corregidor / Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan, Leyte, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Tokyo�. The right side of the slide is marked �World War II Commemorative / Pacific Theater Of Operations�. The right side of the frame is marked �321 PTO� and the left side is marked �Colt�s PT.F.A. Mfg. Co. / Hartford, Conn. U.S.A.� The smooth dark wood grips have gold colored Colt medallions. This set is also still in its shipping box with the bamboo display case in its own box, pistol in its “Kraft” box , faux .45 silver dummy rnds in their box and all still fitted in the factory Styrofoam, and the original Colt Ind Certificate.
