Manufactured in 1985 as per serial number. Winchester 9422M called by some �the best rifle Winchester has made since 1964,� the Model 9422M utilizes a modified version of Winchester�s Model 61 slide-action rimfire mechanism but mirrors the look and feel of the Model 1894 centerfire lever-action rifles. Frames were forged and milled and beautifuly blued, internals were solid steel, iron sights, the stock and forearm are made of laminated wood. According to many, it was these rifles that reestablished Winchester’s reputation as a premium firearms manufacturer. This particular example is in excellent condition and would make a great shooter or addition to any collection. Includes a nylon sling. some very light scratches. Please see photos.
