The ProPEX Lead-Free (LF) Brass Drop Ear Elbow connects metal piping systems to Uponor PEX-a pipe in hot and cold domestic potable water systems. The threaded end connects to FIP (female iron pipe). The other end connects via the ProPEX ASTM F1960 expansion method for strong, durable, reliable connections to Uponor PEX-a pipe. The product features the NSF us-pw-G marking for compliance to state and federal lead-free requirements. Combine with Uponor PEX-a pipe, Uponor engineered polymer (EP) fittings, and Uponor ProPEX out-of-the-wall support systems for a complete lead-free solution from inlet to faucet without the need for torches, glues, solvents, gauges, or fire-watch requirements. Note that this product requires the use of a ProPEX expansion tool and ProPEX rings (sold separately) to make the ProPEX connection.
