· No assistance or equipment is guaranteed to be available onsite. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to provide all necessary equipment, tools, personnel, and labor required for loading, transportation, and removal. On-site repairs and/or removal of parts will not be permitted unless specifically authorized by Henderson Auctions and the selling agency.
· Payment is due within FIVE (5) business days from the time and date the buyer’s invoice or purchase documentation is issued, unless different payment terms are stated in the auction listing. Failure to make payment within the required time may constitute default under Henderson Auctions’ auction terms and may result in restrictions on the bidder’s account.
· Any claim or dispute arising from the description or condition of the property must be made prior to removal. Once the property is removed from its location, the sale is final.
INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS
INSPECTION: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects that are not immediately detectable. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection and pick-up are by appointment only unless otherwise stated. Contact the person listed in the auction description to schedule an inspection.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Winning bidders must remit payment in accordance with the payment instructions shown on the Henderson Auctions invoice and/or in the auction-specific terms. Payment is due within FIVE (5) business days of auction closure unless otherwise stated.
For invoices of $5,000 or more, Henderson Auctions may require payment by wire transfer or another approved form of certified funds. Depending on bidder history, transaction size, auction requirements, or fraud-prevention measures, Henderson Auctions may limit payment methods or require additional verification.
Full settlement is due on the day of the auction, or no later than the following business day, unless otherwise stated. Accepted forms of payment (payable to Henderson Auctions): Cash, Wire Transfer, Cashier’s Check/Money Order, Personal or Business Check with a bank letter of guarantee. Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (4% convenience fee applies). International credit cards are not accepted. International buyers must pay by wire transfer. A $50 international wire fee applies. Bank drafts are not accepted.
SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax will be calculated in accordance with Louisiana law and the location and nature of the transaction. Buyers seeking a sales-tax exemption must provide Henderson Auctions with valid exemption documentation before payment is finalized. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that exemption certificates and supporting documentation are current and applicable to the transaction.
REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Unless otherwise stated in the auction listing, all purchased items must be removed within TEN (10) business days from the date the paid invoice or buyer’s release documentation is issued.
Buyers are responsible for loading and removing all property awarded to them from the location identified in the auction listing. The buyer must make all arrangements and perform all necessary work, including packing, rigging, loading, transportation, and removal of the property.
Neither Henderson Auctions nor the selling Louisiana governmental agency is responsible for packing, loading, shipping, rigging, or transportation unless specifically stated otherwise. Property removal is by appointment and is subject to the selling location’s operating schedule, holidays, safety rules, and site requirements.
A daily storage fee of $20.00 or 2% of the winning bid, whichever is greater, per business day may be assessed for property not removed within the stated removal period, if such a fee is included in the auction-specific terms.
