This auction is for one (1) lot of Pre-war Lead bricks, measures 2x4x6, weighing approximately 25lbs each. These bricks are used for laboratory testing.
The condition of all surplus vehicles and equipment is unknown, and the surplus unit does not receive information/history on vehicles/equipment turned in for surplus. Bidders are strongly advised to read and understand the terms of the sale and to avail themselves of the opportunity to inspect vehicles/equipment in person. The operability (whether they start and run or not) at the time of sale of this and all surplus vehicles/equipment is never guaranteed and not to be expected. There are no service records, and it is not known at what point they are originally taken out of service. No information is provided. Only very obvious deficiencies that may be detected once delivered to the surplus property may be provided in the description, only as a courtesy. The surplus unit here at DSS is responsible only for the disposal of surplus property items, “as is and where is” not the condition. Potential bidders may inspect equipment/vehicles for themselves and bear the full responsibility of the purchase, if the successful bidder.
Removal Instructions: The asset must be removed within 10 working days of close of auction. Any asset paid for but not picked up within 10 working days will be subject to a $40 storage fee per calendar day or forfeiture. The removal is the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Special Instructions: Being offered for sale “AS IS – WHERE IS”. No guarantees or warranties. Assets may contain defects not readily apparent by visual inspection.
