Tarco/Highlander 12' S/S V-Box Hydraulic Spreader
This is a heavy-duty, commercial, or municipal-grade material hopper designed to mount inside a full-size single or tandem-axle dump truck chassis to spread salt, sand, mixtures, or chips for highway snow and ice control.
12-foot-long hopper body constructed from stainless steel. This provides maximum corrosion resistance against harsh deicing chemicals. A 12-foot hopper typically holds roughly 5 to 7 cubic yards of material.
Power & Drive: It is fully hydraulic (Hyd.), utilizing low-speed, high-torque orbital hydraulic motors integrated into the truck’s central hydraulic system
Conveyor Bridge: Since this unit is 12 feet long, it comes standard with a Conveyor Bridge to help relieve weight pressure off the drag chain system
Spinner Assembly: It features a 20-inch diameter spinner disc with molded polyurethane directional vanes, powered by a direct-mount bottom hydraulic spinner motor. It has an enclosed chute with internal baffles and external tool-free adjusters, allowing you to manually direct the spread pattern (left, right, or center) across widths from 8 to 40 feet.
