This vintage 1993 Defiant Comics collectible lot features an original factory-sealed wax box of PLASM Zero Issue trading cards paired with the official factory-sealed ComiCollector card set album binder. Published by The River Group and created by comic industry legend Jim Shooter, this groundbreaking release allowed collectors to build a complete comic issue card by card across a 150-card base set.
Accompanying the box is the official ComiCollector album binder, which comes factory-sealed in plastic. The binder features pre-bound archival sleeves designed to fit the entire 150-card set and random foil inserts, a bonus Level One Foil Card #9, the Zero Issue comic cover sheet, an exclusive 16-page "Splatterball" comic book, and "The PLASM Story" written on special paper stock by Jim Shooter.
Both pieces remain in original factory shrink wrap. The outer clear wrap displays typical light shelf wear and vintage handwritten price notations on the exterior plastic, leaving all internal cards, binder components, and printed materials untouched and in original condition.
