The dramatic scene depicts a Heinkel He 111 forced down in the English countryside while a Spitfire of No. 66 Squadron passes overhead during the Battle of Britain in September 1940.
This example is hand-numbered 304/500 and features multiple hand-signed pencil signatures along the lower margin, including artist Robert Taylor and Battle of Britain veterans.
