Early 20th-century souvenir pillow featuring elaborate beadwork and the words “Niagara Falls 1923” worked into the front.
The pillow has a shaped scalloped form with a dark blue/gray fabric front, red fabric back, tan edging, and extensive glass seed bead decoration. Beaded motifs include stylized birds and floral/leaf designs in white, yellow, metallic, pink, red, turquoise, and other colors.
Measures approximately 6”x6”
Antique condition with significant age-related wear. Bead loss and loose or hanging bead strands are present around the edges and decorative areas. Fabric shows fading, discoloration, wear, fraying, and general surface deterioration consistent with age. Some stitching and trim are loose.
