Item description:

Description: A three-piece antique beverage service and elegant American glassware lot. The focal piece is a large, heavy clear glass half-gallon mineral water bottle featuring a high-relief embossed pictorial graphic of a Native American chief kneeling by a freshwater spring. Accompanying the advertising bottle is a matching pair of clear elegant crystal water goblets or iced tea chalices from Fostoria’s "Sceptre" pattern line. The glasses boast deep vertical column panels wrapping the cone-shaped bowls, resting over sculpted multi-tiered knop stems and circular footed bases.

Dimensions: The half-gallon bottle stands approximately 11.25 inches high to the top of the lip. The two matching Fostoria Sceptre stemware glasses each stand 5.75 inches high with a top rim diameter of 3.25 inches.

Markings: The shoulder of the bottle is explicitly embossed with the brand name "CHEMUNG / SPRING WATER" over a lower base marker reading "TRADE MARK". The lower reverse heel features bold corporate property text reading "THIS BOTTLE IS LOANED / AND NEVER SOLD / ONE HALF GALLON". The elegant Fostoria Glass stems are unmarked, which is historically correct for this mid-century series.

Condition: Authentic antique and vintage condition with beautiful display contrast. The heavy glass bottle is structurally intact with a stable rim lip and includes a tight-fitting vintage cork stopper plug; the interior and exterior glass walls display advanced mineral fogging, cloudiness, and historical sediment spotting typical of age. Both Fostoria Sceptre stemware goblets are clean, brilliantly clear, and structurally flawless, showing zero chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or usage clouding.
