Item description:

Description: An eight-piece estate collection of antique and vintage advertising, beverage, and utility glass vessels. The focal grouping features a rare antique clear glass apothecary bottle embossed with a profile portrait of a Native American chief, alongside three matching antique clear glass pharmacy or medicine bottles with straight cylindrical bodies and narrow collared necks. The collection also includes a vintage dark brown molded glass Altenmünster brewery bottle with an embossed relief design and a working metal bale swing-top porcelain cap, a tall clear glass wine or vinegar bottle with a wire bale porcelain swing stopper, and a matching pair of clear glass carafes capped with their original sheet metal closures.

Dimensions: The tall Native American chief apothecary bottle stands approximately 11.25 inches high. The three matching pharmacy bottles each stand 9.75 inches high with a base diameter of 3 inches. The two clear glass carafes each stand 7.75 inches high by 3.5 inches in diameter.

Markings: The front shoulder of the portrait apothecary bottle is embossed with the warning label "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE / OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE", and its base is embossed with tracking codes including "64 A / 41 / SB 5". The bases of the three matching pharmacy bottles are deeply embossed with the manufacturer hallmark text "DR. S.B.H. & CO. / REGISTERED / PR", alongside numerical mold designations 77 and 22. The brown beer bottle features a bold paper label reading "ALTENMÜNSTER" below embossed heraldic crests, and its porcelain cap reads "Altenmünster / Brauer-Bier". The two carafes feature metal twist caps lithographed with "The California Carafe".

Condition: Authentic vintage and antique condition. The glass bodies across the entire eight-piece assortment are structurally sound and entirely free of chips, cracks, or deep structural fractures. The clear glass apothecary, pharmacy, and wine bottles exhibit typical antique weathering, including comprehensive interior mineral fogging, cloudiness, micro-scratching, and light storage residue from age. The porcelain swing-top caps on the Altenmünster beer and wine bottles function properly with intact rubber sealing gaskets and light surface oxidation on the metal wire bales. The California Carafe tin caps show minor, age-appropriate surface rust spotting along their edges.
