A.R. Tew Orchard Crate: The large delivery crate is structurally stable and features heavy protective galvanized steel corner bands wrapped around the outer edges. The thick side slats and solid wood bottom planks remain securely attached, though the raw wood shows widespread staining, paint splatters, and a small localized split on the lower corner of one stenciled end face. The integrated curved handle cutouts are smooth and intact.
Primitive Dark Wood Box: The smaller nested storage box features a solid, dark-patinated pine or hardwood construction. The side walls are tight, though the flat end panels show heavy weathering, surface scuffs, and natural grain shrinkage cracks. The factory stenciling on the face is faded but partially legible, and the end panels include dual circular drilled finger holes for lifting.
