Condition Overview
Ball Ideal Jars: The three aqua blue glass jars are structurally intact with no major cracks or deep fractures visible along the main bodies. The embossed "Ball Ideal" script lettering on the front faces is prominent and crisp. The smooth glass surfaces display typical manufacturing air bubbles, minor surface scuffing from storage, and a light layer of interior dust. The bases feature distinct mold marks including the digits 3, 2, and 6.
Lids & Gaskets: The matching aqua blue glass lids fit properly on top of the jar rims. The rubber gaskets are present but show heavy degradation, hardening, and cracking consistent with age.
Wire Bails: The metal wire lightning bail closures are functional but exhibit heavy surface rust, oxidation, and weathering. I did not attempt to open 2 of the jars since the gasket disintegrated on the jar i opened.
