Vintage Brass Amber Glass Lantern Music Box | Novelty Decanter Dispenser

Description: A vintage mid-century novelty musical liquor decanter designed to resemble a classic maritime or carriage lantern. Constructed with a sheet-brass frame featuring a pyramid-style roof with embossed rivet studs, a perforated chimney flue collar, a wide swinging wire bail handle, and protective diagonal cross-wire window guards. The frame houses four amber-colored wavy glass side panels. The perforated chimney top lifts off to reveal an internal amber glass decanter bottle fitted with a decorative cream-colored plastic stopper plug shaped like a flower blossom.
Dimensions: Stands approximately 10.5 inches in height to the top of the chimney cap, extending to 13.5 inches high with the wire handle fully raised, by 4.5 inches wide.
Markings: The underside features a silver-painted wood base plate housing a manual winding key and a vertical brass stop-release lever for the internal musical movement. The base contains a faint handwritten grease pencil number notation, but is otherwise unbranded by the manufacturer.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The brass frame is structurally intact with light surface oxidation, tarnish spots, and handling scuffs from age. The four amber glass panels and the hidden internal glass decanter bottle are completely sound and free of chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. The mechanical music box winds up and is fully operational, playing music smoothly when wound. The decorative top cream plastic stopper is clean and detaches as intended.
