Condition Overview
Cobalt Blue Coffee Pot: The oversized blue kettle has a few holes and features a functional black wooden bail grip and dual side stabilization handles. The exterior cobalt blue finish retains good gloss but displays a heavily weathered antique patina. Widespread signs of historic field use are visible, including significant enamel chipping along the handle attachments, base rim, and pour spout. A prominent hole has rusted completely through the upper shoulder section near the lid seat. The interior basin shows deep surface oxidation, lime scaling, and rusted bottom flaking. The matching blue lid sits well but displays heavy perimeter rust tarnish.
Grey Granite Ware Pot: The grey mottled boiler is structurally stable with its side handle and a decorative turned wooden bail grip intact. The exterior exhibits prominent patches of porcelain loss, localized scrape marks, and small rust blossoms on the body walls. The inner basin shows advanced wear, highlighted by thick scaling, heavy enamel flaking, and scattered rust-through holes pitted across the bottom interior plate. The matching grey dome lid features minor surface scuffing and edge tarnish.
