Item description:

Estimated Retail Value: $70.00 – $85.00 (Reflecting current bullion premiums over live silver spot index levels)
Designation: 2005 United States American Silver Eagle Bullion Coin
Mintage Year: 2005
Mint Location: West Point Mint (Struck without a physical mint mark for standard bullion issue)
Denomination: One Dollar ($1.00 USD)
Composition: 1 Troy Ounce of .999 Fine Silver
Grade/Condition: Brilliant Uncirculated (BU)
Design Details:
Obverse: Features Adolph A. Weinman’s world-renowned "Walking Liberty" design. Liberty moves gracefully toward a rising sun while draped in the American flag, cradling large branches of oak and laurel.
Reverse: Features John Mercanti’s classic Heraldic Eagle with shield, holding an olive branch and arrows beneath a canopy of 13 stars. This represents the original Type 1 reverse profile utilized by the U.S. Mint prior to the mid-2021 series redesign.
Condition & Eye Appeal Notes:
Luster: Displays radiant, unbroken satin mint bloom and excellent cartwheel luster across both fields.
Striking: Crisp and sharply struck, retaining sharp definition lines on Liberty's gown folds, the rising sunburst lines, and the reverse eagle's plumage details.
Surface: Premium eye appeal for a raw bullion piece. The bright surfaces are remarkably clean, free of distracting milk spots, carbon spots, heavy contact marks, or perimeter rim dings.
Presentation: Cleanly secured and centered inside a protective round acrylic coin capsule, completely shielding the fields from environmental handling oils and shelf friction.
