Condition Report
Woodwork & Carving: Structurally solid with excellent joinery. The carvings are deep, clean, and distinct. There is a small, natural wood knot imperfection near the lower center edge of the lid carving.
Lithograph Inset: The print shows deep, earthy tones with standard vintage age-mellowing. The surface remains smooth without major peeling or deep scratches.
Hardware & Wear: The original brass-tone latch shows a nice aged patina with standard finish pitting and oxidation consistent with historical use. The interior cedar compartment remains raw, clean, and retains its characteristic scent.
