Original wildlife painting depicting a group of deer gathered along the edge of a wooded stream. The scene features three deer among an autumn forest landscape, rendered with heavily textured, expressive brushwork in earthy browns, greens, oranges, and blues.
Signed “R. Wilson” in the lower right. The reverse identifies the artist as Richard Albert Wilson and is inscribed “Original Deer’s November 9, 1969.” Additional handwritten notation indicates the work was painted in memory of loved ones.
Presented in a traditional dark wood-tone frame with a narrow gold-tone inner accent. Overall framed dimensions are approximately 19” x 15”.
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. Painting shows some surface marks and general wear. Frame has scratches, scuffs, finish loss, nicks, and other cosmetic wear throughout.
