Item description:

Five antique customer shaving mugs marked by occupation and/or name and one mustache cup.   Per AI citing BellingHistory and 3 other sources:  “Kept on special shelves at the local barbershop, they ensured hygienic straight-razor shaves by preventing the sharing of soap and brushes.”  More than a century old and used often, some of the mugs in this lot are in rough shape.  The mug with a barrel on it has part of what appears to be a handwritten history of the mug being passed down through generations.  The white horse mug has had the handle replaced and a small section of the bottom; skull & crossbones has a large crack; Statue of Liberty and floral with horses are in good shape with only finish fading.  The mirror on the mustache mug has very cracked.
