Item description:

Roche Novelty Co., Bloomfield, NJ cast iron bank with a clock and titled “Time Safe.”  7″ high, 3.75″ wide, 2.5″ deep.  Circa 1980’s. Handwritten note attached to back says “To Open: Set time to 9:12 & push up lever.”  Setting the time and moving the lower lever up slightly loosens the door on the right (from front), but it does not open.  Connection between door & lever can be felt.  When it works, the door apparently comes completely off.  Pictures will show a 1.5″ crack near the lever.
