Item description:

Two one gallon plastic bags holding matchpads from a wide variety of restaurants, hotels and political campaigns.  The lot also offers four Heminray glass insulators and three Edison Record containers.  Two are empty, but the navy blue one has a cylinder inside.  From Wikipedia:  "Phonograph cylinders (also referred to as Edison cylinders after their creator Thomas Edison) are the earliest commercial medium for recording and reproducing sound…In 1912, the Edison company ………..started production under a variation of their existing Amberol brand as Edison Blue Amberol Records."  The blue Amberol expanded the length from 2 minutes to four minutes.  Also included:  three pocket measuring tapes – Decca Vitamin Family advertising piece plus Master TufBoy 306 and the gold tone "Golden Rule" measuring tape.
