Five original joke booklets distributed by Treasure Novelty Co., New York, from the 1940s–1950s era. Titles in the set are "Sheer Nonsense" (No. 17, Second Series), "Puns and Jokes" (No. 18, Second Series), "Favorite Jokes" (un-numbered), "Jokes Deluxe" (No. 20, Second Series), and "Jokes and Gags" (No. 10, First Series).
Each booklet features period black-and-white illustrations and printed jokes on the front and back. The set appears to be in good, readable vintage condition, showing some minor age-related yellowing. These items were novelty joke cards, popular in mid-20th-century America. See photos for Measurements if taken.
