Wooden puzzle box featuring a hinged lid inlaid with a marquetry scene depicting Mount Fuji and a lakeside landscape. The sides are crafted to resemble books, each with geometric floral patterns in contrasting wood tones. The interior is plain wood with brass hinges. The box underside shows inked markings that appear to be in Japanese.
The condition shows minor surface wear and natural wood grain throughout. See photos for measurements, if taken. Suitable for storage or as a decorative object with traditional Japanese marquetry craftsmanship.
