American ash wardrobe (armoire), circa 1890–1910. A molded, overhanging cornice tops a pair of paneled doors with shaped, recessed panels and a keyhole escutcheon at the center. A full-width drawer with stamped metal pulls sits below the doors, and the case rests on a molded plinth base. The sides have two-panel frame construction, and the open interior has a plank back and hanging hardware.
