Two hardcover volumes from the series "The Best of the World's Classics," edited by Henry Cabot Lodge and published by Funk & Wagnalls Company in 1909. The two volumes included are Vol. IX America-I (1552–1891) and Vol. V Great Britain and Ireland–III (1760–1881).
The books feature contributions by prominent historical figures, with biographical and explanatory notes. Both books retain their original blue cloth covers, exhibit some wear consistent with age, and have visible age-related toning to the pages and endpapers. No dust jackets are present. See photos for Measurements if taken.
