This is a blue spongeware mixing bowl marked RRP Co., Ohio, USA. The base is clearly incised with the maker's mark and the size designation, '6 Bowl.' The exterior features a classic blue spongeware rim and a wheat-style leaf motif on one side, characteristic of Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company pieces. The bowl is constructed of glazed stoneware, which was typical for RRP Co. outputs from Roseville, Ohio. | | No apparent cracks or chips are visible in the photos.
