This is Pride Mobility's premium seat-elevating power chair, an FDA Class II medical device with a manufacturer's list price of $9,499. Its main feature is a power seat that rises up to 12 inches at the push of a button. That lets the rider reach kitchen counters, sinks, shelves and cabinets, talk with standing people at eye level, and make transfers more easily. Unlike many elevating chairs, it can still drive at full speed while the seat is raised.
