Story: I Requested A Local Inuit Make Me This For Educational Purposes. This Is Like A Traditional Inuit Drum And Drumstick Still In Use Today. This Drum Has Canvas Stretched Over Wood. In The Past It Was Scrapped Animal Skin Over Bone. See Attached Newspaper Picture Of One Being Used. Often The Husband Would Do The Drumming While The Wife Would Sing Telling About The Skills Of Her Man. I Used This Drum At Many Schools And Other Groups To Teach Them About The Inuit.
