The Town of Trent has declared the former City Building as Surplus Property and will offer the following real property at Public Auction located at 104 W. 3rd St. in Trent, SD (Directly East of Steve’s Bar). From the Trent SD Exit #104 - 5 miles east.

Due to deterioration and roof issues with portions of the building formerly utilized as the Office & Shop/Storage Building for the Town of Trent, SD, they have vacated this property and have made the decision to declare it as Surplus Property and will offer the property at Public Auction. The property consists of a building which is approximately 51’ x 100’ with a finished 13 ½’ x 18’ front office area and a 9 ½’ x 12 ½’ single office, additionally there is a finished restroom. The shop portion of the building consists of 2 stalls with a 12’x12’ OH door in the front (south end of the bldg.) and a 11’x16’ OH door in the east side of the rear portion of the building. The property is serviced by Ottertail Electric, Big Sioux Community Water and Trent Sewer. The property has 110 amp breaker electric as well as an older Janitorial Furnace. According to Moody County Assessor’s information the lot is approx. 51’x150’ and the building in its entirety is approx. 51’x100’ & is built with concrete block. This property is condemned, in need of substantial renovation & repair or complete removal for future development and is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”.
