Hand-colored county map with inset maps of the Environs of Nashville and the Environs of Knoxville, a steam boat routes table, and a decorative border. Top margin carries an 1850 Act of Congress entry line for Thomas Cowperthwait & Co., Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Page number 27.

– One black-and-white print, "General View of the City of Nashville, Tennessee." The margin reads "Reproduction from Original Woodcut, Harper's Weekly March 8, 1862."
– One color plate, "Rouault – Paysage au bord de la mer." Printed on tan paper with "France-Illustration" in the margin. A printed "Rouault" signature appears in the image.

– Condition: the maps show toning and edge wear. The map on the brown backing is more toned, with marks along its edges. The Nashville print has a brown stain and spotting at the lower margin and light creasing. The Rouault plate has margin toning and a small edge tear or chip on one side.
