This lot features a miniature framed print depicting St. Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy, complete with the Campanile and St. Mark’s Basilica. The print is housed within an ornate, possibly gesso or plaster over wood, frame with a distressed gold and cream finish. The print itself is surrounded by a burgundy velvet mat. The overall frame dimensions are approximately 5 inches wide by 6 inches high (including the decorative top hanger). The frame exhibits significant crackling and chipping to the gesso/finish, consistent with age and handling. There is also a small chip to the frame on the lower right side.
