Item description:

A stately vintage Herschede Hall Clock Co. grandfather clock, circa early 20th century. This impressive timepiece features a rich dark wood case with elegant fluted columns and a decorative arched pediment. The ornate brass face showcases intricate scrollwork and prominent gold-tone Arabic numerals. A brass plaque proudly indicates a "Grand Prize" award from the Panama Pacific International Exposition 1915. The interior houses a pendulum and tubular chimes, visible behind a glass door with a brass latch. One of the latches holding the chimes requires repair causing clock not to work. The clock measures 83 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 15 inches deep. The mechanism appears complete but its functionality is unknown and the clock is untested.
