Vintage Wooden Tray with Reverse Painted Butterfly Wing and Snakeskin Design

This vintage rectangular serving tray features a wooden frame with intricate inlay banding along the inner edge. The central panel is adorned with a unique reverse painted design utilizing real butterfly wings to depict tropical island scenes with palm trees and mountains against a luminous sky. The butterfly wing art is interspersed with snakeskin patterned panels, all set under glass. The tray includes integrated cutout handles for easy carrying. The underside of the tray is solid wood with visible screws..
