A set of Towle “Old Master” pattern flatware, presented in its original wooden anti-tarnish storage chest. The set includes a variety of sterling silver flatware with a combined weight of approximately 2,346 grams, equivalent to approximately 75.43 troy ounces of sterling silver.
Additional sterling-handled/stainless steel utensils have a combined gross weight of approximately 1,259 grams, or 40.48 troy ounces. Please note that this weight includes the stainless-steel blades and any other non-sterling components; therefore, the full 40.48 troy ounces should not be considered sterling silver weight.
The flatware features the ornate scroll and floral detailing characteristic of Towle’s classic Old Master pattern. The wooden chest is lined with Pacific SilverCloth, designed to help protect silver from tarnishing.
The chest shows age-related wear, including scratches and scuffs. Flatware appears to be in good used condition with some surface tarnish and signs of normal use. Pieces may benefit from polishing. Please review all photographs for included pieces, condition, and details.
